LANZAROTE ELOPEMENT

If you love volcanoes, desert landscapes and endless beaches Lanzarote is definitely the right place for your elopement.

Patrizia and Josema are two friends as well as two colleagues and it was great for me to be there for their elopement.

We shared not only the day of the ceremony but 4 days together. Families and friends all together in a beautiful villa overlooking the coast of the island of Lanzarote.

Come see this adventurous Elopement in Lanzarote, Spain. At Los Cuervos, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled landscapes of this beautiful Canary Island

Knowing Patrizia, I had no doubt that her wedding would be exactly like that. The classic wedding, with long ceremonies and conventional obligations is certainly not for her.Who chooses to do an Elopement, chooses the intimacy of the people closest to him and normally some epic place to hold the ceremony and take pictures of the couple, and so it was.

For their ceremony they initially wanted to have it on the cliffs of Los Hervideros overlooking the ocean but in the end they chose the Caldera de Los Cuervos at the foot of a Volcano, to have more privacy.

The ceremony was extraordinarily emotional, we ALL cried, hard to keep a cool head in these situations for me, especially when it’s two friends exchanging such heartfelt vows.

That’s the beauty of Elopements, you can do whatever you want, wherever you want.

There are no limitations, your dreams can truly come true.

The weather was not on our side, the ceremony had a strong wind, and as soon as it was over, the rain started.

But what we photographers always recommend is to embrace the moment, no matter what, and so it was.

With Patty and Josema we ran through the rain, screaming and laughing and having the time of our lives, until even the rain subsided and we continued with some wonderful shots in one of the many hollows of this magnificent landscape.

We ended the celebration in our villa, where we set up a beautiful table and prepared some of the bride and groom’s favorite dishes, and then we started dancing at the end of the dinner.

But enough talking, I leave you to the emotions of this day with my shots.
