These are the memories of my travel to Marrakech, a city that never ceases to amaze me.
Lost, this is how you feel when you arrive in Marrakech.
The spices tease your nose, the alleys of the medina are designed to make you lose yourself and surprise you at every corner with handmade small shops full of artefacts.
After a first day to orient ourselves, once we learned at least the way to go back to our beautiful Riad Dar-K, we started to relax at the Hammam Le Bain Bleu and had dinner in a restaurant run by an amazing group of women, the Al Fassia.
We start the second day by visiting Le Jardin Majorelle and the YSL museum, but the best part woule arrive in the afternoon.
We treated ourselves to a night in the rocky desert of Marrakesh at Scarabeo Camp.
It was the most surreal experience of my life, we slept in a huge tent under the stars, drank a glass of wine looking at the desert in absolute silence, strolled , chatted around the bonfire and dined by candlelight.
The weather had not been the best, but after a day of clouds at sunset the sun exploded giving us the perfect light for a few snaps.
Every time I visit this city, it gives me something more and I can’t wait to come back.
So if you want to plan a trip and you are not yet decided on the destination, well a travel to Marrakesh is what it takes, trust me!
